✢ Foam wallboard or wall helps purify the air. The plants used for our plant creations do not release CO2. Cities like Berlin are installing “moss trees” in the street, instead of real trees, to fight against pollution in the city.
✢ Our preserved moss, unlike most indoor plants, does not require any particular light source. When going on vacation, you can close the blinds and leave for unlimited time at peace of mind.
✢ There is no need to water, carve or maintain them. Not even a little bit. The moss does not need water, and will not grow either.
✢ Vegetal in an interior to relax. The moss was grown by Japanese gardeners for its ability to soothe.
✢ Lichen and stabilized mossabsorb sound as well. The structure, shape and density of the moss allow it to neutralize the noise, echoes and tone of our voice in a room. It is often used in companies to help soundproof meeting rooms. To reduce noise from one room to another, or to please neighbors.
✢ The moss is made to be kept intact indoors for many years (5-10 years) by following some simple conservation tips. This is also why it is so much appreciated!
✢ Scandinavian lichen evolves according to the humidity present in the air: it hardens when the humidity is low (less than 40% in general), then becomes more supple, fresh and spongy beyond. These changes of state do not absolutely damage the plants.
✢ Moss is a totally eco-friendly plant! Natural moss has amazing adaptability to its environment, allowing it to withstand extreme temperatures from icy cold to arid heat, and it does not matter the level of Ph soil. Its utility in our eco-system is recognized: the moss helps carbon conservation, control erosion, it is a shelter for many micro-organisms, and some birds even use it to build their nest. We also use moss as a bio-indicator for air quality, acid rain, water pollution and wastewater treatment.
✢ Scandinavian Lichen, flat moss, moss balls … More than 50 plant species are now “preservable”.
